What comes standard on the Silverado trim?
Chevrolet lists six comfort and appearance features as standard on the Silverado trim, plus the Z71 Off-Road package on every 4WD model.

Four driver-assistance features are newly standard across the 2027 lineup: Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking, Side Bicyclist Alert and Reverse Automatic Braking.

Super Cruise is available here, and it can run hands-free while towing up to 13,600 pounds. The lane-change features switch off while trailering. The panoramic sunroof, a first for Silverado, is also available, as is the Cabin Glance interior camera.
What does the Silverado trim add over the Custom?
The Silverado trim costs $4,300 more than the 2027 Silverado Custom. For that, Chevrolet lists heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, 4-door keyless entry, ambient lighting, the rear power sliding window and Anderson Metallic bumpers. 4WD buyers also get the Z71 package, and the option list opens up to Super Cruise and the panoramic sunroof.
What do you get by stepping up to the Custom Trail Boss?
The 2027 Silverado Custom Trail Boss costs $6,500 more, at $57,195, and it's the least expensive lifted Silverado. It comes with a 2-inch lift with monotube shocks, 34-inch mud-terrain tires on 18-inch Dark Android aluminum wheels, skid plates, a two-speed transfer case and red recovery hooks. Chevrolet's highlights for it don't list the Silverado trim's heated seats or heated wheel, so check the window sticker if you want both.
Which engines are available on the Silverado trim?
Chevrolet hasn't released which of its four engines are offered on the Silverado trim.

The four 2027 engines are a 350-horsepower 2.7L TurboMax, a 402-horsepower 5.7L V8, a 481-horsepower 6.6L V8 and a 305-horsepower 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel, all with a 10-speed automatic. Buy the Silverado trim if the truck is your daily driver and you want winter comfort without the High Country's $74,495 price. It's the lowest-priced trim where Chevrolet lists Super Cruise as available, and 4WD models come ready for snowy forest roads with the Z71 package. If you want a lift and mud-terrain tires, the Custom Trail Boss is the next step.
