2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trim Levels
The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has been a favorite among full-size pickup buyers at dealerships like the Chevrolet dealer in Kellogg for many years. Silverado fans like the truck’s classic styling and exceptional capability. And the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 gets class-leading towing power, with a maximum capacity of 13,400 pounds. The big news this year is the addition of the available 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-six powerplant.
According to the Chevrolet dealership in Kellogg, the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado is available in eight trim levels, listed as Work Truck (WT), Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ and High Country. We’ll examine every model and see what they offer.
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 WT
The Silverado 1500 WT trim gets standard features that include 17-inch steel wheels, vinyl upholstery, a tilt-only steering column, four-way manually adjustable front seats, air conditioning, a rearview camera, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a stereo system with six speakers, Bluetooth and a USB port.
The optional WT Convenience package includes keyless entry, power windows and locks, power outside mirrors and cruise control. The WT Safety package features rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, and front and rear parking sensors.
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom
The Custom trim comes with 20-inch wheels, cloth upholstery, power windows and locks, power and heated mirrors, cruise control, a six-speaker audio system, front tow hooks, cruise control, deep-tinted glass and keyless entry.
The optional Custom Convenience package features in-bed lighting and remote start. An Infotainment package adds satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot and OnStar.
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss
The Custom Trail Boss trim is ideal for traveling off the beaten path, thanks to standard four-wheel drive, the Z71 off-road suspension package, 18-inch black wheels and a trailering package.
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT
The LT trim gets alloy wheels, a 4.2-inch driver information display, a tailgate damper, LED headlights, an advanced driver information display, a steering wheel with audio controls, semi-automatic climate control, a Wi-Fi hotspot, an 8-inch touchscreen and two additional USB ports. Leather upholstery is available.
The Convenience package includes a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, proximity keyless entry, remote start, a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel and two second-row USB ports. A separate Convenience package comes with two household-style power outlets, a universal garage door opener, an 8-inch touchscreen, a high-definition rearview camera, satellite radio and HD Radio. The Safety package features rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, and front and rear parking sensors.
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST
The Silverado 1500 RST is essentially an LT with body-colored trim in place of chrome. It includes remote start, a power-locking and power-release tailgate, dual second-row USB ports, in-bed lighting, and a rear window defroster.
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss
The LT Trail Boss features the same equipment as the Custom Trail Boss, with the addition of dual exhaust, the trailering package, exclusive exterior trim, and the features of the Z71 suspension and trailering packages.
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ
The LTZ comes with most of the standard equipment of the RST. It adds 10-way heated and power-adjustable front seats, driver-seat memory, in-bed lighting, leather upholstery, a power tailgate, dual-zone automatic climate control, auto-dimming and power-folding mirrors, remote start, proximity keyless entry, a heated steering wheel, an 8-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, a trailer brake controller, a high-definition rearview camera, two 120-volt power outlets hitch guidance and HD radio.
The LTZ is eligible for two optional convenience packages, two safety packages and the Technology package, which adds a rearview mirror camera, a surround-view camera system, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster and a head-up display.
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country
The High Country trim gets 20-inch chrome wheels, a power-up-and-down tailgate, a spray-on bedliner, front and rear parking sensors, chrome side step rails, a seven-speaker Bose audio system, ventilated front bucket seats, heated second-row seats, a power-sliding rear window, front and rear parking sensors, an 8-inch driver information display, navigation, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert and wireless phone charging. The Hight Country gets the same options and packages as the LTZ.
