1) Trying to get service scheduled was unproductive. First we scheduled online and even received a confirmation via text and email (a week ahead). We called a day ahead to check-in about some of the concerns to be addressed, and there was no record of the appointment created online, even with the confirmation. The person who took our call at Knudtsen then put us on the schedule with verbal confirmation for the same date and time as the online appointment. We we arrived for the service appointment, there was no record of us on the schedule... Thankfully the service consultant was able to get us in (we drove more than hour for this appointment). 2) We had the oil change and fuel filter change done, in addition to the multi-point safety check. This check confirmed the condition of the tires, brakes, etc were all in good shape and acceptable wear levels. Three weeks later an engine service light came on and we immediately took it to the dealer service center in Billings. The diesel exhaust module had to be replaced, and the reservoir had crystallized residue in it and the seal was deformed. This resulted in a $1378 repair. We are not saying this is something that would have been caught during our service at Knudtsen, just that it happened. THE BIG CONCERN is that during this same service, the mechanic discovered the front left brake was completely worn on one side of the pad and was scoring grooves in the rotor that were visible even to an inexperienced person. This resulted in a $726 repair. This is alarming and discouraging since we were specifically told in the service report and verbally at Knudtsen that the brakes were in good shape and acceptable levels. It is doubtful this kind of wear happened in the span of 3 weeks. We had hoped to re-visit Knudtsen in the future for our service and maintenance needs, but that will now be very doubtful and unlikely.

I made an appointment a month out. I dropped my car off on thurs before New Years for some sluggishness/resistance in 4 wheel drive and a check engine light. I had to rent a car for a week only for your technicians to find an error code about "misfires." I called once on Sat.to get an update if they'd found anything wrong, the man I spoke to was very curt and just stated " well, its been given to the technicians." Useless. I called back on Monday and spoke to a woman who basically gave me the impression that nothing had been done. Useless. I call back on Wednesday later afternoon and spoke with Tim and he said it was ready and that all they had found was some error code for "misfires" and a spark plug was replaced. Now, a day after I get my car back the check engine light is on again. Do I need to drop it off again and pay for another week of car rental? I'm not happy that I had to rent a car for a week only to find basically nothing wrong. You guys need to re-think how you schedule appointments.

Tyler answered all my questions on the phone... Let me know what other options were available... Sadly wasn't free when we came in but passed us to Brendon who was able to show us the vehicle and walk us through the purchase process. Dan was a cut above. I see why he's in the position he is! That man is definitely a money maker for you! Sold us a bunch of extra stuff I actually feel good about! Seriously though, best finance experience I've ever had and hopefully he's not retired next time I'm looking at purchasing a new Chevy. You guys are awesome. Interactions with service has been good as well (Brent was great helping to accommodate our needs). Looking forward to a long relationship with you guys. So much better then our last dealership.
