Four trim levels are on offer: WT, LT, LTZ and High Country. The Silverado 3500HD is powered by a standard 6.6-liter V8 engine that puts out 401 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque. This powerplant is mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. Buyers can opt for the available Duramax diesel 6.6-liter V8. It develops 445 hp and 910 lb-ft and is mated to an Allison 10-speed automatic. Both engines are offered with rear- or all-wheel drive, and each one can get a single- or dual-rear-wheel axle.

It comes with 18-inch wheels, daytime running lamps, four-way manual front driver and passenger seats, vinyl seats, manual door locks and windows, a single-zone climate control system, trailering mirrors, cargo tie-downs, the CornerStep rear bumper, a locking tailgate, side steps, a 12-volt auxiliary front power outlet, hitch guidance, a rearview camera, rubberized vinyl floor covering, and a trailering package.
