If you like the Chevrolet Bolt EV hatchback but are looking for something bigger, you’ll love the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV. This all-electric compact SUV is the second electric vehicle in Chevy’s lineup. The Bolt EUV is popular at dealerships like the Green Acres Chevrolet dealer, thanks to its quick acceleration, exceptional handling, spacious cabin, and long list of the latest technology and safety features. Buyers looking for an EV that won’t break the bank will be happily surprised by the 2022 Bolt EUV’s low price tag.
The 2022 Chevrolet is available in two trim levels: LT and Premier. Under the hood sits an electric motor that produces 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. There’s a special Launch Edition that features exclusive wheels, a panoramic sunroof, Super Cruise, and an illuminated charge port, but this model is sold out.
CNET gives the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV high marks, writing: “The new EUV is a bigger, better version of the already likable Bolt, and with its great tech and low price, makes for a seriously compelling way to go electric.”
Green Acres Chevrolet Dealer Power comes from a 65-kWh lithium-ion battery located beneath the floor to maximize passenger and cargo space. This is the same engine and battery combination found in the standard Chevrolet Bolt EV. The Bolt EUV gets an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 125 MPGe city/104 MPGe highway.* The driving range is 247 miles. According to U.S. News & World Report, the 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV can get to 60 mpg from off the line in 6.5 seconds.
The Bolt EUV comes with a dual-level charge cord that can accommodate 120- and 240-volt outlets and pull in up to 7.2 kilowatts. We don’t have official charge times from Chevrolet, but the Bolt EV takes just over nine hours to charge using a similar system. Not everyone has a 240-volt outlet in their home, so Chevy is sweetening the pot by offering free Level 2 charger installation for Bolt EUV buyers as part of a partnership with Qmerit.
You’ll enjoy driving the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV. It delivers an exceptional ride with outstanding driving dynamics. The cabin has a high-quality look and feel, and there’s plenty of room for passengers to stretch out and stay relaxed. The infotainment system is easy to use. The Super Cruise feature can take over steering, braking, and accelerating on specially equipped North American highways.
Standard features for the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt include LED front and rear lighting, cruise control, the dual-level charging cord, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.2-inch touchscreen and more.
The 2022 Bolt EUV comes with Chevy Safety Assist. This standard safety suite includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, and lane departure warning.
