Power comes from a 65-kWh lithium-ion battery located beneath the floor to maximize passenger and cargo space. This is the same engine and battery combination found in the standard Chevrolet Bolt EV. The Bolt EUV gets an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 125 MPGe city/104 MPGe highway.* The driving range is 247 miles. According to U.S. News & World Report, the 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV can get to 60 mpg from off the line in 6.5 seconds.
The Bolt EUV comes with a dual-level charge cord that can accommodate 120- and 240-volt outlets and pull in up to 7.2 kilowatts. We don’t have official charge times from Chevrolet, but the Bolt EV takes just over nine hours to charge using a similar system. Not everyone has a 240-volt outlet in their home, so Chevy is sweetening the pot by offering free Level 2 charger installation for Bolt EUV buyers as part of a partnership with Qmerit.
